1864 Official mail: incoming cover from Paris with strip x3 80c Napoleons addressed to the Minister of Foreign Relations in Guatemala. Boxed "P.P.", London PAID cds, PANAMA double arc British PO cds and, of arrival, fine s/line "franco" to show that there was no charge due. Very fine £600GU/16416/C
1876 Postal stationery: 1/2r "Liberty" pse Die A sent from Mazatenango with fine cds (7 Feb) to Guatemala City. Very slightly trimmed at side otherwise fine example of this rare used Die A envelope £600GU/16422/C
1892 Postal stationery: cover from Livingston to Coban with, on the reverse a pasted up 3c + 3c reply card (H&G 5) to pay the 6c internal rate postage. Fine LIVINGSTON cds's on both card and the face of the cover (25 Aug). Unusual £240GU/16423/C
1893 Destination: 5c pse (H&G B4b) sent from Guatemala City with sender's cachet with added 1c blue and 2 x 2c brown "Large Quetzals" to Penang in British India with arrival b/stamp. Scarce destination £180GU/16415/C
1896 Postage due: 5c pse (H&G B4) with fine AMATITLAN octagonal datestamp sent to Montevideo with boxed "T" with manuscript "9" alongside and, on arrival, circular "10" due marking £120GU/16414/C
1901 Registered postcard: 3c domestic postcard (H&G 3) with added 2 x 1900 6c "Large Quetzals" plus strip x3 1901 1c on 25c sent from Guatemala City to Hildburghausen in Germany with arrival cds alongside £150GU/16420/C
1902 Ambulante: cover sent to Guatemala City with 1902 6c tied by fine "AMB.POSTAL F.C.C./ESCUINTLA A COCALES" cds. On reverse fine "AMB.POSTAL F.C.C./GUATA. A ESCUINTLA No.1" cds. Scarce markings £90GU/16421/C
1905 Postal stationery: special lettercard valid during the 1905 Exposition with view on the reverse (Grupo de Indigenas) in brown on pale green laid stock (G2 h/bk p.586). Address written in and with Exposition cancel (25 Sep) £150GU/16419/C
