1885 First issues: cover to Genes in France endorsed "Per R.M. Str." with Liberty 1881 7c blue imperforate with good margins plus 1882 perforated 3c tied by JACMEL cds (15 Oct) with second strike alongside. CALAIS A PARIS transit cds. Fine £720HA/16433/C
1898 Maritime: printed cover to Gothenburg in Sweden with 1893-94 3c and 7c "palms" each with manuscript date "1/2 98" tied by fine s/line AUSTRALIA Hapag ship cancel with second strike alongside. Arrival b/stamp £150HA/16431/C
1899 : small Hamburg American Line corner card cover franked with 1898 2c on 20c brown with surcharge inverted tied by CAP-HAITIEN cds without year date sent to Jacmel with arrival b/stamp. Scarce rate SOLDHA/16424/C
1906 : triple rate cover from Port au Prince to Liverpool with 1906 8 x 1c on 20c orange (two shades), one on the reverse, plus 11 x 2c on 50c plum, eight on the reverse (total 30c) all tied by cds's (31 Mar). Arrival b/stamps. Small faults but rare commercial franking SOLDHA/16430/C
1915 : internal regd. cover to Miragoane with 1906 2 x 1c de p., 1912 2c de g., 1914 "GL OZ" opt on 1912 5c de p. and 1915 boxed "1" surcharge in red on 50c with POSTE/PAYE h/stamp in blue all tied by PETIT GOAVE cds's. The latter stamp is rare on cover SOLDHA/16425/C
1918 : GAZETTE DE TRIBUNAUX printed wrapper sent locally in Port au Prince addressed "en Ville" with 1917 1c on 50c de p. with red surcharge. Rare printed matter rate SOLDHA/16429/C
1921 : corner card cover from a Lawyer addressed to "Juge (sic) L. Montes" with 1919-20 5c postal surcharge on 1906 50c postage due tied by Port au Prince cds (10 Jan). Uncommon on cover SOLDHA/16428/C
1925 Airmail: first flight by military plane from Port au Prince to Cap Haitien (2 May) endorsed "Par aeroplane" and with oval AVION cachet over the stamp. 50 flown (Muller 2 - 5000 pts) SOLDHA/16426/C
