1898 Postage due: cover from Corinto to Etampes in France with 1897 10c tied by large oval datestamp (28 Jan) with circular "T/CORINTO" alongside, Paris transit and, on arrival, added French 2 x 15c postage dues. Unusual SOLDNI/16455/C
1898 Postage due: internal cover from Matagalpa to Managua sent without stamps with "T" markings and s/line "Sin Porte" markings. Leon transit and, on arrival, added 1898 1c, 2c and 5c postage dues plus 1898 2c postage issue to make up the 10c double deficiency all tied by Managua oval datestamps. 1898 : cover from a member of the Nicaragua Canal Commission sent to Philadelphia endorsed "Camp Pelo Seco May 22/98" with strip x5 1898 2c tied by circular CARTERO markings with San Juan de Norte oval datestamp alongside (30 May). Camp Pelo Seco was located just across the border in Costa Rica SOLDNI/16459/C
